ubWitness.com Design Submission Kit

Design appropriateness

Your design must be Christian based. However you may create it with whatever style and theme you’d like. So funny, witty, subtle, preachy, bold, edgy, whatever you think makes a great t-shirt. Keep in mind that the community starts at age 13. So we have the right to decline any designs with themes or material that make us feel uneasy.

Design content

Designs cannot contain copyrighted or trademarked material. It needs to not have celebrities or other people whose images or names you don’t have permission to use. Also stay away from submitting duplicate designs or ones that have been only slightly changed. If you’re unsure: Run Away! Run Away! (or consult an attorney or just do something original).

Should be a no brainer here but let’s talk plainly. You were built in the image of a creator so be creative and do something original. If we think it may have legal issues we’d rather not touch it. Also keep in mind the spirit behind ubWitness.com. We’re both trying to create great looking apparel that also gives you a chance to spread some good news.

File format

Please submit designs as JPEG, PNG or GIF files with at least 150 dpi image resolution.

Quality

High quality images of your design have a better chance at being selected. So as Pat Benatar sang “hit me with your best shot”. We are not associated with and do not endorse Pat Benatar in any way (read that with a fast, low, hushed tone and it’s a lot more fun).

Quality police? Homie don’t play that. However, if you’re unsure about whether your design will cut the mustard just submit it through the normal channels and we’ll let you know if it needs some more time in the oven.

Size

Designs should also be no larger than 14.5" x 18" (36.8cm x 45.7cm)

Colors

You may use up to 6 unique colors in a design but 4 or less is encouraged, plus the less colors you use the less it costs to make and the more you make. You can use just one color. Use multiple colors sparingly and be sure what is used truly adds to the design. Color gradients are not allowed at this time.

For shirt colors you may use whatever color material you would like in a design. However, if your design is chosen and the exact color is not available for production then we’ll use something comparable.

Orientation

Currently designs should be for the front area of a t-shirt only. No arm or back designs. If you intend for your design to be positioned somewhere other than typical center for a t-shirt, please submit your design on our t-shirt template.
