ubWitness.com (we, us) values the privacy of our customers, visitors, users, and others ("Users", collectively or individually, you) who use www.ubWitness.com (the "Website"). We're pretty sure you like your privacy as well. This Privacy Policy ("PP") applies to everything about the Website and explains important stuff about the use and disclosure of User information collected on the Website.  This PP is effective 7/15/2009 and was last modified 7/15/2009. Your use of the Website and any personal information you provide on the Website remains subject to the terms of this PP and the ubWitness.com Terms of use. 1. Personal Information we collect, how it's gathered and used

General

  • ubWitness.com does not require you to register to view the Website or products, to rate designs or to suggest new local ministries. Registration is required for posting comments, submitting designs and other interactive features.
  • We collect non-identifiable information that does not individually identify any person when you visit the Website, such as your IP address, browser type, access time, page views, etc. This data is used for research and analysis purposes to provide better service and a better overall experience at ubWitness.com.
  • We collect personal information when you register, make a purchase or any other time you provide it.
  • 1011 Web Solutions, LLC is the sole owner of the information collected on ubWitness.com.

Children Under 13 years of age

  • Ubwitness.com is committed to protecting the privacy of children. Ubwitness.com does not knowingly or intentionally collect any type of personal information online from children under the age of 13.

International Users

  • If you are a User accessing the Website from outside the United States or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from U.S. laws, please be advised that through your continued use of the Website, which is governed by U.S. law and this Privacy Policy as incorporated in our Terms of Use, you will be transferring your Personal Information into the United States and you consent to that transfer.

Registration

  • In order to participate on ubWitness.com we request you register and we collect certain personally identifiable information from you. You are required to create a user name and password, to give contact information and provide your birth date on the registration form. We use this information to contact you about ubWitness.com services in which you have expressed interest. Your birth date is used to verify you age as 13 or older and so we can tell you happy birthday because we're nice like that.
  • During registration, you can choose to opt into our newsletter and periodic email updates from ubWitness.com regarding new designs, sales and promotions.
  • We use this information to contact you for account and submitted design related items.

Orders

  • If you purchase a product or service from us, we request personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date and security code).
  • We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

Newsletter

  • If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you.
  • We will also provide you a way to unsubscribe in your ubWitness.com account profile page and by following in the instructions in each newsletter.

2. Personal Information we share and who we share it with

  • We follow the Golden Rule.  We wouldn't want you giving away and selling our personal information so we don't do it to you either. We do not rent, trade, or share Personal Information with third parties except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
    • Third parties needed to fulfill orders, such as a shipping company, credit card processing company and an email service provider. When this occurs we only share the minimum necessary amount of personally identifiable information as necessary for the third party to provide that service, including your name, address, credit card information and email address.     • In the event ubWitness.com goes through a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information may be among the assets transferred.
  • Any personal information, or comments that you voluntarily disclose on the Website, for example on comment pages or blog becomes publicly available. Your messages and other information you make available in public areas of the Ubwitness.com website will be seen by people and organizations not related to or controlled by Ubwitness.com, and may be used by others to contact and send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to publically submit.
  • Your screen name is displayed to other Users when you make comments through the Website and have a design being rated or sold. Please note that any comment or other content you post or send to the Website becomes published content and is not considered personally identifiable information subject to this PP.
  • We post customer news and/or events on the Website which may contain personally identifiable information. We will obtain your consent via email prior to posting the news and/or event to post their name along with their news and/or event.

3. Confidentiality and Security

  • ubWitness.com follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personally identifiable information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and therefore we do not guarantee its absolute security.   • ubWitness.com employees have limited access to your personally identifiable information and only to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
  • We use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to encrypt sensitive information you enter on the Website.

4. Cookies and Web Beacons

  • A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. A web beacon is an object embedded in a web page or email that allows checking that a user has viewed the page or email.
  • We use temporary session ID cookies to make it easier for you to navigate and use the Website.  These cookies expire when you close your browser.
  • We use a persistent cookie to store your passwords, so you don't have to enter it more than once.
  • When you login the cookie contains a key but not to any personally identifiable information.

  • Ubwitness.com does utilize tracking technology to better understand site traffic patterns and use. However, none of the information collected via tracking technology is personally identifiable information.

  • If you click on a link to a third party site, including on an advertisement, you will leave Ubwitness.com and go to the site you selected. We are not responsible for any use of your personally identifiable information by such third parties and do not guarantee they will adhere to the same privacy practices as us. We encourage you to inspect the PP of any other service provider from whom you request services.
  • Ubwitness.com may use web beacons in connection with e-mails sent to Users, so we know whether and when the email was opened. No personal information is transmitted through web beacons.

5. Updating your personal information

  • You may correct or update your personal information on your account profile page.
  • You may also delete or deactivate your account on the account profile page.

6. Changes and Updates to this Privacy Policy

Ubwitness.com may update this policy at any time in its sole discretion and without prior notice so please review it frequently. If we decide to change our PP, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the home page, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
